The model of long – term care insurance in Germany: applicability in Vietnam

  1. Abstract: Long-term care insurance model in Germany was introduced in 1995 as the fifth pillar to the social insurance system in Germany. This is compulsory social insurance policy for employees and covers entire population – those who need to be assisted as elderly, people with disability. Within this article, the author aimed at introducing long-term care model for elderly in Germany and considering its applicability in Vietnam’s condition.
